About Aikido Class

Aikido is a bare-handed self-defense art that can be learned by men and women of all ages. Practicing helps maintain both physical and mental health.

Furthermore, Aikido does not aim to knock down or injure an opponent, but rather emphasizes a peaceful approach of “neutralizing and controlling the opponent’s attack.” As a result, it cultivates a spirit of harmony that resolves unnecessary conflicts.

Practice is tailored to each member's age, physical fitness, and goals, and is conducted in a safe and injury-free manner. Most of our members have no experience in martial arts.
Children's class is for elementary school students.
Adult class is for junior high school students and above.

One of the main features of our school is that we hold tournaments, but participation in tournaments and matches is by those who wish to do so.

The instructor has over 40 years of experience in Aikido and holds a 6th-dan black belt in Aikido.
