Iaido is a technique of cutting an opponent with a sword drawn in an instant. Iaido in our school is derived from the Takeda-ryu Battoujutsu, which was once used as a sword technique in the Takeda cavalry battles.
Practice is tailored to each member's age, physical fitness, and goals, and is conducted in a safe and injury-free manner. Most of our members have no experience in martial arts.
Iaido class is for 2nd grade junior high school students and above.
One of the main features of our school is that we hold tournaments, but participation in tournaments and matches is by those who wish to do so.
